From a young age, I was incredibly enthusiastic about fishing, although no one in my family truly supported or understood that passion. The right moment finally came when the father of my girlfriend at the time, now my wife, took me fishing for the first time.

From that very first session, I was hooked. The atmosphere by the water, the anticipation of a take, and the respect for the fish completely captivated me, and carp fishing soon became a major part of my life.

Over the years, I dedicated most of my time to competitive carp fishing, which taught me discipline, tactical thinking, watercraft, baiting strategies, and, above all, the importance of absolute confidence in my equipment and bait.

For the past few years, I have been fishing exclusively with Mainline Baits, and the results have only further strengthened my trust in the brand. The boilies deliver consistent results, but my real favorites are the High-Impact pop-ups and the liquid range, especially Fosoil.

Now that I have stepped back from competition fishing, my focus has shifted. Today, it’s about enjoying the moment, appreciating time on the bank, and fishing purely for the love of carp angling that first hooked me more than 20 years ago.
