About Tommy De Cleen

I started carp fishing at the age of 14 in 1984, so I have been doing this for about 42 years now, on big lakes, small lakes, rivers and canals here in Belgium, but also fished in France (not a lot) and do for the last 10 years regulary trips to the UK to fish for carp. I love the history of carp fishing in the UK.

I joined Mainline Baits in 1998/99 so that’s over 25 years I have been with this company (the Best in my book). The last 15 years my carp angling as changed (for me personally) is become a way of live, its who I am and I just love fishing, being on the bank doing what I love. Catching carp is a bonus and its not always about the size (or the kilo’s) I need to enjoy it and have fun along the way, it’s a fantastic hobby. It’s a great buzz to be out, away from the busy work live, its gives me piece of mined.

Taking pictures, and making the occasional dairy vlog as become other hobby of myself, inside my carp angling (95% of my fish pictures are self takes) its great to be part of this company. Along the way I met a lot of people, that became friends for life…
